Beauty Therapist or Beautician?

Clare Sharples

25 Aug 2022

What is the difference? Is there a difference?

Yes there is a difference.

Beauticians are qualified to Cert III or IV in Beauty Therapy.

They are qualified to perform manicure, pedicure, brow service, tint service, tan, makeup and lash extensions.

Beauty Therapists are qualified to Diploma in Beauty Therapy.

They are qualified to perform Beautician services and on top of that, advanced skin treatments, massage and electrical and chemical service treatments.

At Seraphina, I am a Senior Beauty Therapist, meaning I have the qualifications, skills and experience.

Come and see me in salon soon!
